Popular Newquay is perched on top of Cornwall’s Atlantic Coast and bordered by seven miles of stunning beaches. A surfer’s paradise in summer, this lively town is the perfect holiday destination. We’re perfectly based to explore nautical Falmouth and historic Truro.

Visit historic Truro, Cornwall’s county town, dominated by a stunning cathedral.
Truro is a delight to explore, with its maze of cobbled alleyways and beautiful Georgian architecture.We return to Newquay via Cornwall Gold, an award-winning attraction, home to a sparkling range of local jewellery and Tolgus Mill, Cornwall's last working Victorian tin mill.

Day 3: Day at Leisure or Padstow
Relax in Newquay, or join our optional excursion to Padstow, passing Bedruthen Steps to reach this bustling harbour town.

You will stay for four nights at either the 3-star Beresford Hotel or the 2-star Marina Hotel in Newquay
Stay in the very heart of Newquay at The Beresford Hotel. The hotel boasts beautiful coastal views from its location, which is just a stone’s throw away from Tolcarne beach – perfect for swimming and sunbathing with family and friends. With two comfortable lounges and a sun lounge, there’s plenty of space to relax after a day exploring the local area. The restaurant serves a range of traditional and modern British cuisine which varies from month to month, and there is a bar to enjoy a well-earned drink in. Just a short walk from the hotel, you’ll find the wide range of shops, attractions, cafés and bars, making it a superb base from which to uncover this coastal town.
Overlooking the stunning Tolcarne Beach in Newquay and just a short walk from the resort’s shops and attractions, the Marina Hotel’s location is certainly hard to beat. This clifftop hotel is outstanding, with bright decor, bedrooms and public areas updated in 2018. Soak up the views as you unwind in the bar or lounge, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere after spending the day in Newquay. Guests can venture out to the clifftops for an evening walk under the sunset before relaxing in the hotel’s à la carte restaurant, which serves an excellent selection of British cuisine.
